Accessibility Statement

Web Accessibility Statement

At Six Bullets Tattoo, we believe that the internet should be inclusive and accessible to everyone. We are committed to delivering a digital experience that can be enjoyed by the broadest possible audience, regardless of individual circumstances or abilities.

To support this commitment, we strive to comply as closely as possible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines are designed to make online content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities and help ensure a more inclusive experience for all users.

Accessibility Features

Our website incorporates several tools and technologies aimed at enhancing accessibility. A user-friendly interface enables individuals with specific needs to customize the site's design and interaction to suit their preferences better. These functions can be accessed through an integrated accessibility panel that is available across our entire website.

The accessibility control panel can be activated by clicking the round "Accessibility" icon in the lower right corner of our website. Users who do not use a mouse can also activate the panel using the keyboard shortcut (CTRL + U). The panel also allows users to reposition or hide the accessibility icon if they wish.

The accessibility panel includes the following assistive features:

- Font size adjustments
- High-contrast mode
- Adjusting letter and line spacing
- Option to hide images
- Ability to stop animations and videos
- Enlarged cursor option
- Text alignment settings
- Colour saturation adjustments
- Dyslexia-friendly font option

Browser Support and Screen Readers

We aim to ensure compatibility with the most widely used browsers and assistive technologies, covering most of the user base. Our accessibility features are optimised for:

- Browsers: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Microsoft Edge, Opera, and Internet Explorer 11+

- Screen readers across both Windows and Mac operating systems.

- To activate the screen reader on a Mac, you can use the keyboard shortcut Command-F5. Alternatively, you can navigate to System Settings > Accessibility > VoiceOver and toggle the VoiceOver feature On.

- To activate Narrator, Windows' built-in screen reader, you can use a keyboard shortcut or navigate through the Windows settings. The keyboard shortcut is the Windows logo key + Ctrl + Enter. Alternatively, you can open Narrator settings by pressing the Windows logo key + Ctrl + N or by going to Settings > Accessibility > Narrator.

While the site may also function on other platforms, we recommend using the above tools for the best experience.

Feedback and Ongoing Improvements

We recognise that accessibility is an ongoing process. Some areas of the site may not yet fully meet accessibility standards, and new content may require additional time to optimise. However, we are continually refining our tools and adopting new solutions to enhance everyone's user experience.
